Sex Joy

Tradition has tried to cut the casualties by laying down all kinds of schedules of morality, but these never work percent in practice. Nor are they of much use in classifying the merits of different kinds of relationships. If sexual love can be — and it is — the supreme human experience, it must be also a bit hazardous. It can give us our best and our worst moments. In this respect it's like mountain climbing — over-timid people miss the whole experience; reasonably balanced and hardy people accept the risks for the rewards, but realize that there's a difference between this and being foolhardy.

Love, moreover, involves someone else's neck besides your own. At least you can make as sure as may be that you don't exploit or injure someone - you don't take a novice climbing and abandon them halfway up when things get difficult. Getting them to sign a consent form before they start isn't an answer either. One reason I think books should be available is because of its religious beliefs.

People who are really religious might not want their child to read this book because of its questioning of god. Another reason why all books should be open to the public is because some books may be hands on or informative. For instance, The Joy of Sex written by Alex Comfort is hands on. The author stated that the book was written for inexperienced couples. Now not only are they going to read the book but others who have a great interest in sexual activity might read it as well.

Other books are written to help you understand the changes in our bodies. Changing Bodies, changing Lives is a book that illustrates particular things teenagers, or even adults may want to know about, from sex, drugs, to peer pressure. However these books may influence youngsters to avoid sexual activity. For some reason violence tend to make things more interesting in books, movies, plays, etc. Not everybody lives the happy endings. Most books that contain violence are very popular; well almost every book has some sort of violence.

Parents make things so difficult, some parents might not allow their children to read books with violence. In conclusion, I believe that all books should be available to the public, weather they contain religious belief, sex, or violence. Books are inspirational and educating. Das Buch wurde ebenfalls als Taschenbuch mit dem Titel The Joy of Sex, the Pocket Edition veröffentlicht.
